Fancy Pets Grooming is dedicated to making the planet a better place. We use environmentally friendly products and recycle. We do fund raising for various organizations and dog rescues. The following are our most frequently asked questions.

What does grooming entail?

Each grooming consists of a bath with shampoo and conditioner, drying and trimming as needed, nail trims and cleaning ears. We can express the anal glands when you ask us to. We do not do this unless asked as it is not good for the pet if it doesn't need it.

How do I know if the anal glands need to be expressed?
The dog is scooting across the carpet or floor or ground.

How much does it cost to groom my dog?

This depends on the size and type of coat and cut you have. When you call for a quote we will give you a range of prices. We can give you a firm price before you leave. Price depends on many factors. If your dog is small with short hair it will be less expensive as a large dog with a heavy coat that is shedding a lot or an intricate cut or show coat. We are fair in our prices.

Do I need an appointment?

It is best to have one, but call and we can check the schedule and accommodate you as best we can. Nail trims do not need an appointment.

Can I just walk in?

Walk ins are welcome early in the day before noon. Later it is less likely we could take you.

Are you open Sunday?

We are open every other Sunday by appointment.

Can I wait?

On occasion, yes, however please make arrangements beforehand as we will need to make certain we can accommodate you.
