Ron Thompson

 

 

     on is an exemplary groomer with an excellent reputation for doing a

superb job. He has been grooming since 1963 and is celebrating 50 years in a fantastic

career. He has owned and operated grooming shops in Toronto Ontario, Montreal

Canada, New York, North Carolina and Phoenix. He has taught grooming at the New

York School of Dog Grooming and owned a grooming school in conjunction with

his grooming shop in North Carolina called The Grooming Centre. After closing his

operations in North Carolina he then went to Buffalo, New York where he taught at

The Dog Grooming School of Greater Buffalo.

 

After coming to Phoenix in the 80‘s he managed Glarins School of Dog grooming then moving to ABC School of Dog Grooming in Mesa in the 90’s.  He has also owned and operated several groom shops and pet stores in the east valley. Ron is an all breed groomer including cats

and specializes in soft coated breeds, such as poodles, bichon’s, maltese, and

labradoodles. Poodles are his specialty, especially standards as he used to breed and

show standard poodles. Ron has worked at Fancy Pets for the past 15 years and it is

our pleasure to have him on our team of skilled grooming professionals.
